2013 Mum Parade Winners
Flips Gymnastics earned the First Place spot for Non-Musical Groups at the 2013 Bristol Mum Parade.

Award winners for the 2013 Bristol Mum Festival Parade, held Sunday, Sept. 22 in downtown Bristol, have been announced. FLOAT AWARDS Mum Festival Chairperson's Award: St. Anthony School Hometown Hero's Choice Award: Reach for the Stars Academy of Dance Mayor's Award: St. Matthew School Best Business Entry: Wojtusik Nursery and Garden Center First Place, Best Youth: Mountain View School Second Place, Best Youth: Immanuel Lutheran Church and School Third Place, Best Youth:St. Joseph School Cub Scout Pack 22 Fourth Place, Best Youth: Bristol Boys and Girls Club Best Use of Festival Theme, "It's Time to Bloom": The Dance Experience Best Live Flowers: Baggott Farms First Place, Best Community: Bristol Relay for Life Second Place, Best Community: The Salvation Army MARCHING AWARDS FOR MUSICAL AND NONMUSICAL UNITS Best Overall Award, Given in Memory of Robert Bailey: Torrington High School Band First Place, High School Band: Northwestern Regional High School Second Place, High School Band: Lewis S. Bailey, who died April 7, was also active with the fife and drum corps circuit for more than 50 years. His presence at the parade will be missed.
